Taiwan Excellence participates in Smart Asia to integrate smart solutions and enhance future readiness with smart living October 17, Mumbai:For the third consecutive year, Taiwan Excellence is participating in the Smart Asia – Expo & Summit 2019 where people from different industries will converge to discuss innovative ideas and technology to improve their cities and communities. The event, being held between October 17 and 19, will focus on Smart City Solutions, Smart Technology Applications, City Development Products and Services. This year, Taiwan Excellence’s Pavilion is receiving an even bigger response thanks to its display of a wide variety of smart services that are efficient, sustainable, accessible and affordable. The organization is displaying various products and brands in smart ICT, smart healthcare, IoT solutions, smart gaming gadgets and smart-life devices industries. With some unique offerings, the products cover the entire spectrum of smart and digital automation – from simple sensors to intelligent solutions, from what is feasible today to the vision of a fully digitalized industrial world. The focus remains on practical solutions for smart living. Another major participating brand is Delta Electronics, a well- known Taiwanese brand that offers solutions in industrial automation, building automation, datacentre, telecom, renewable energy, display and monitoring and EV charging. Taiwan Excellence pavilion has many crowd pulling products. The UTX -3117 is a plug & play IoT gateway to simplify deployment with multi-connectivity and IoT software integration which is ideal for smart city, smart retail, smart energy, and industry 4.0 solutions. The Opro9 smart Air Purifier is another highlight. The purifier takes a non-traditional approach to air cleaning, with a water-based system that is designed to “wash” the air by absorbing impurities and releasing negative ions. Also, on display is the Buder Under Sink Hot Water Dispenser that is environment friendly and comes with an energy efficient design. Taiwan Excellence has already been undertaking a range of initiatives in India to share its expertise when it comes to smart solutions by contributing to various projects of the Indian government including Smart Cities mission, Make in India, Skills India and Digital India. India has been benefitting to a great extent from these contributions especially at a time when according to estimates, by the year 2050, the population in Indian cities will touch 60% of total population. Yotta Infrastructure Inaugurates Asia’s Largest and World’s Second-Largest Uptime Institute Tier IV Certified Data Center – Yotta NM1 at Navi Mumbai India, Mumbai, 07 July 2020: Yotta Infrastructure, a Hiranandani Group subsidiary and a Managed Data Centre Service Provider developing hyper-scale data centre parks in India, today inaugurated India’s largest data center building, Yotta NM1, in a virtual event in the presence of Shri Uddhav Thackeray– Hon. Chief Minister, Govt of Maharashtra, Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad – Hon. Minister for Communications, Electronics & Information Technology and Law & Justice, Govt of India and Sh. Subhash Desai – Hon. Minister of Industries and Mining , Govt of Maharashtra. It is the largest Tier IV Data Center certified by Uptime Institute in Asia and second largest in the world. With proximity to Mumbai and Pune, Yotta NM1 Data Center is located in the 600-acre Hiranandani Fortune City in Panvel. Yotta NM1 is first of the five data center buildings coming up at this Integrated Yotta Data Center Park, which, once fully built, will have an overall capacity of 30,000 racks and 250 MW power. At 820,000 sq. ft, 7,200 racks, 50 MW of power and 4 redundant self-owned fiber paths connecting the DC to national highways, the first DC Yotta NM1 itself offers a highly scalable data centre infrastructure, capable of hosting global cloud, content and OTT operators besides the mission-critical applications of enterprises and governments. As enterprises increase their dependency on cloud services, and as India becomes increasingly digital, shifting speedily to web collaboration, e-commerce, e-payments, emerging technologies like AI, ML, IoT, Robotics, connected cars, and as 5G adoption permeates, the resultant growth in generated data is humongous and requires a massive buildout of evolved data processing and storage facilities i.e. data centers. Initiatives under the Digital India campaign are further accelerating the growth in India’s data center industry.
