Rising Pune is the winner team of Brotherhood Premier League cricket tournament

Pune: Rising Pune Team defeated JJ Jawan Team to claim the Brotherhood Premier League cricket trophy for 2023-24.

Brotherhood Foundation which completed 25 years public service this year, has been organising Brotherhood Premier League cricket tournament for the last 10 years, informed President Shri Pawan Kumar Jain and Jt Secretary Shri Narendra Goyal. 

Prizes were given to winners by Founder Chairman Shri Jaiprakash Goyal, President Pawan Kumar Jain,  Shri Narendra Goyal and women’s teams receiced prizes from Ms Geeta Goyal First Lady Ms Kavita Jain, Ms Kanta Devi Goyal and Ms Ruchi Goyal. Advisory Shri Vikas Gupta, Shri Pawan Bansal and Shri Sanjay (Prince) Agarwal were present for the felicitations. 

President Shri Pawan Kumar Jain and Jt Secretary Shri Narendra Goyal explained that this Cricket Tournament was started to bring together people from Agarwal community from all age groups. Shri Jain said 

that his wife Ms Kavita Jain was felicitated along with Ms Swati Agarwal, wife of Shri Ravikiran Agarwal, Ms Yogita Agarwal, wife of Shri Sanjay B Agarwal (Treasurer) and Ms Ruchi Goyal, wife of Shri Narendra Goyal (Jt Secretary).  

He said Mr Narendra Mittal and Ms Reena Mittal are chairpersons of this tournament and Mr Rakesh Agarwal and Ms Rekha Agarwal are vice chairpersons. Their committee led the organisation of this four-day BPL –  Brotherhood Premier League cricket tournament in an excellent manner. The tournament was held from 4 January 2024 to 7 January 2024 in ” day-night” format.  

Adding to this Shri Narendra Goyal said there were 14 participating teams in this Brotherhood Premier League cricket tournament 2023-2024, including four women’s teams.  

Blind cricketers who came from all over Maharashtra played a match under the guidance of Shri Dilip Shelwante. In the women’s Divas’ section Chamadia Queen team performed remarkably well to defeat Super Queen team and claimed Diva Cup.  

Friends 11 team defeated ESKAY Royal team to win the Legend Cup.

Arvind Agarwal who showed excellent performance in the entire tournament was felicitated as Man of Match, Man of the tournament and best fielder. Jitendra Agrawal was the runner up for All Rounder trophy.

Brotherhood Premier League cricket tournament 2023-2024 concluded at Legend Sports Club, Mundhwa. Cricket lovers gathered in large numbers to watch the games and cheers the players.

BYE youth wing of Brotherhood participated in tournament under presidency of Vikas Agarwal.
